*Honored as one of the strongest champions ever for the LGBTQ community for being a fierce advocate for the welfare of young people and families, leading the charge for Miami Beach to the be the first city in South Florida to ban conversion therapy in 2016, and directly advocating to pass bans in neighboring cities.

*Also honored for being a leader in the fight against discrimination in the workplace, helping SAVE launch and lead multiple initiatives including the Business Equality Network and Conservatives on the Right Side of Equality, sponsoring several municipal resolutions yearly to support the fight for non-discrimination protections in Tallahassee, being a strong defender of the environment, education, and ensuring that the diverse residents of Miami Beach enjoy a high quality of life standard.
